Adapt, Or You're On A Plane Back Home": Beau Ryan Unpacks The Highs & Lows Of The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition

Reality Star Beau Ryan Talks The Amazing Race

Former NRL star Beau Ryan has opened up about the highs and lows of competing on The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition, saying that the experience was "life-changing."

Ryan and his partner, model Erin McNaught, were one of five teams competing in the second season of the reality show, which saw celebrities race around the world for a chance to win $250,000.

The Challenges Of The Amazing Race

Speaking to news.com.au, Ryan said that the race was "the hardest thing I've ever done."

He said that the challenges were both physical and mental, and that he and McNaught had to learn to adapt quickly to new situations.

"There were times when we were sleep-deprived, hungry, and exhausted," he said.

"But we had to keep going. We had to keep pushing ourselves."

Ryan said that one of the biggest challenges was the cultural barrier.

"We had to communicate with people in different languages, and we had to learn about different cultures," he said.

"It was a real eye-opening experience."

The Rewards Of The Amazing Race

Despite the challenges, Ryan said that the race was also an incredibly rewarding experience.

"I learned a lot about myself," he said. "I learned that I'm more resilient than I thought I was."

"I also learned the importance of teamwork and communication."

Ryan said that he and McNaught formed a strong bond during the race, and that they are still close friends today.

"We went through a lot together," he said. "We laughed together, we cried together, and we supported each other through thick and thin."

"I'm so grateful for the experience. It was life-changing."
